Welcome Home, Evie!

After three years of being in the thick of the adoption process, the Aldridge family welcomed their newest daughter home last night. Evie Esther has been prayed over for countless months, and her big sisters were probably the most anxious people on the planet last night waiting for their momma and little sister to get home. Little Hollyn just didn't know what to do with her self. At one point she was literally just running in a circle with excitement.

Goodness, adoption blesses my bones and seeing the Lord's faithfulness to the Aldridge family during this draining three years is such a testament to His goodness. Little Evie is such a beautiful picture of His redeeming work. We are all so richly blessed to know her.

She looked up at him and said "Papa" and then reached for him. I couldn't help but tear up and this sweet girl being held by her daddy for the first time ever.




Her feet will never touch the ground again...



But if they do... those two will be right beside her, no doubt.

She warmed up a little at the end. We all couldn't help but praise the Lord for her! Seriously, look at her face. I could eat her cuteness up!
